Because I have decided to be a bit more active in my journal I thought a regular post might be a good idea. Mostly it will be about movies/series I watch/ audiobooks/ and writing, of course. Sometimes I might also add some private stuff.

TV series
- Supernatural season 11
I think season 11 is more intriguing than season 10, though I have to admit that I like the first seasons of the series most. I guess this is because I prefer the 'monster-of-the-week stories'. But it's still a very good show. Can't wait to watch season 12.

- Spooks (MI_5), season 1 and 2 (re-watch)
Spooks is a British television drama series. It follows the work of a group of MI5 officers.
It's interesting to watch, fast-paced action with spy intrigue storylines, but sometimes very British ;)

Audio books
Mostly I'm listening at work during my lunch break or in the evening before I go to sleep but I always need my time to finish a book.

- The strain (part 1)
The Strain is a vampire horror novel by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan. It's the first part of The Strain Trilogy and is followed by The Fall and The Night Eternal. (There is also a TV series, which I haven't seen so far)

A plane lands at JFK and mysteriously 'goes dark', stopping in the middle of the runway for no apparent reason, all lights off, all doors sealed. It quickly becomes clear that everyone on board is dead. Ephraim Goodweather and his team from the Center for Disease control must work quickly to establish the cause of this strange occurrence before panic spreads. The first thing they discover is that four of the victims are actually still alive. But that's the only good news. And when all two hundred corpses disappear from various morgues around the city on the same night, things very rapidly get worse. Soon Eph and a small band of helpers will find themselves battling to protect not only their own loved ones but the whole city, against an ancient threat to humanity. (Amazon.com)

Usually, I'm not a big fan of horror novels, but this one is not bad. I've already bought the second and the third part because I need to find out what will happen next. Stupid cliffhanger ;)
