Zeke banged the trunk of his GTO shut. Business had been good today, so many guys asking for roses, chocolates, greeting cards. Dumbheads, all of them. No one but him seemed to realize that Val-day was the most pathetic holiday ever. Who did believe in love? The most overused word he could imagine.

„Hey, Zeke.“
Casey, the photogeek from school and his lab partner since some weeks.
„Do you have a minute?“

„What's the matter?“

The boy looked at him with these strange blue eyes, suddenly he stepped closer, tiptoed and kissed him.

„Happy Val-day, Zeke!“
